Many people don’t like snakes, and to be honest I don’t know if I would stop to say “hello” to one on the street if I saw one, but they are remarkable creatures and also can teach us a valuable lesson.
A snake is a symbol of transformation….
In order for a snake to survive and grow, it must go through the painful process of literally shedding its skin. Snakes need to LET GO of what is safe, what has protected it and kept it comfortable and open itself to being vulnerable until the new skin becomes “home”.
There are times when we need to do the same. We must let go of things that, even though have comforted us, are not restricting us, and holding us back.
It is not easy, and it can be scary and uncomfortable. But it is required for growth and transformation.
This week what do you need to do to grow and transform? What has been restricting you and holding you back from the growth you need? Let’s shed that and emerge fresh and ready for what comes out way.
